By booking an appointment or purchasing a service or product from The Aesthetics Studio, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
About Us
The Aesthetics Studio is a cosmetic clinic offering a range of aesthetic treatments and medical-grade skincare. All treatments are performed by qualified professionals in accordance with Australian medical and cosmetic regulations. Please note that some treatments are considered medical procedures and may not be suitable for every individual.
Who We Treat
All clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive treatment. We will not treat anyone under 18, or if our Registered Nurse or Medical Practitioner determines that a treatment is unsafe or unethical.
Before Your Treatment (Consultations)
Most cosmetic procedures require a medical consultation with our doctor prior to treatment. This consultation will cover costs, risks, aftercare instructions, potential side effects, and expected results. The fee for this medical script is $30, and the script is valid for 12 months. Any new treatments after your initial consultation will require a new script. Consultation fees are non-refundable but may be redeemable toward your treatment. Your financial and medical consent will always be obtained before any procedure.
Appointments & Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a fee or forfeiture of your deposit or prepaid service. Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, your treatment time may be shortened, or we may need to reschedule your appointment to accommodate our other clients.
Payments & Refunds
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. A deposit may be required to secure your booking, which is non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. All treatment fees are due at the time of your appointment unless a prior arrangement has been made.
We have a strict no-refund policy on treatments and packages once a service has commenced. No refunds or price reductions will be given for any unused products in a package. We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, your rights are protected under Australian Consumer Law if a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Please note: Payments made using methods such as Afterpay will incur a surcharge.
Pricing & Promotions
Pricing Details: Pricing for anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments is based on standard doses. The final price may vary depending on the amount of product required, which will be determined by our medical practitioner. Additional units or syringes will incur an extra cost.
Promotional Offers: Members of our loyalty program are entitled to a 10% discount on all products and all services; however, this discount cannot be applied to any products or services that are already discounted, part of a package deal, or subject to another promotional offer.
Results
Individual results can vary. While we strive to achieve the best possible outcome for every client, we cannot guarantee specific results. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve your desired results.
Your Health Information
You are responsible for providing us with accurate and up-to-date medical information. It is crucial to inform us of any changes to your health, medications, allergies, or concerns before each treatment. Failure to disclose relevant information may lead to complications, and you assume all risks associated with non-disclosure.
When We Might Refuse Treatment
We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment if we believe it is unsafe or not in your best interest. Our medical practitioners may refuse treatment to anyone at their discretion. We may also request that you see another medical professional before proceeding.
Treatment may be refused if you are:
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Allergic to bees/wasps (for dermal fillers)
Generally unwell
Have a recent infection
Have an active cold sore
Follow-up Appointments
We offer a follow-up review 2 weeks after your initial treatment. Some wrinkle treatments include a complimentary top-up dose at this 2-week review. This offer is only valid if you attend the scheduled review and is not applicable after the 2-week period. Top-up doses are for wrinkle treatments only and are not offered for dermal fillers.
Products
Due to legal restrictions, product brands and names cannot be used for marketing purposes. If you purchase a product package, all products must be used in a single appointment. Unused products cannot be carried over to other sessions.
Emergency Fees
In the event of a medical emergency requiring Hyalase (for a vascular occlusion), you will not be charged for this treatment.
Your Privacy
We handle all your personal information with the utmost care and in accordance with Australian privacy laws. We will not share your information without your explicit permission unless required to do so by law.
Consent
We will always obtain your full financial and medical consent before any treatment at The Aesthetics Studio.
Your Choice to Have Treatment
All cosmetic treatments performed at The Aesthetics Studio are a personal choice and are done at your own request.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They have an expiry date, which is clearly marked.
Our Responsibility
While we take great care in all our treatments, The Aesthetics Studio and its staff are not liable for unexpected reactions or outcomes. By proceeding with treatment after being fully informed, you accept full responsibility for your decision.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective from that date.
